Kittitas Conservation Trust is seeking to expand our restoration footprint in the Yakima Basin and is looking to hire a restoration director to help increase the pace and scale of work that KCT engages in. Are you the right candidate to help develop a restoration program and work for a nonprofit organization that works in the upper Yakima River Basin? KCT is a small nonprofit land trust with a mission to protect and enhance critical fish and wildlife habitat. KCT is looking to expand our operations to help ensure our restoration projects continue to move forward for ESA listed fish and wildlife species. Currently, KCT is working on 3 large-scale restoration projects that need a qualified project manager to lead these projects forward.

Located in the east cascades, Kittitas Conservation Trust works on river and floodplain projects that cover headwater streams and large floodplain areas of the mainstem Yakima River. Our work includes improving habitat and flow for ESA bull trout and Mid-Columbia Steelhead and other salmon and native fish species found in our area. The Restoration Director will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing restoration projects to further recovery goals found in various watershed plans and setting a future path for the development of a restoration program. This position will also help lead the future of a small but growing non-profit in our local community.
